Griffin Lumber & Hardware Acquires Blake Builders Supply & Specialty Structural Products

Griffin Lumber is proud to announce their acquisition of Blake Builders Supply a market‐leading lumber and building material retailer and Specialty Structural Products, a roof and floor truss manufacturer. Both are based in Griffin, Georgia. These successful Georgia businesses are joining forces with this acquisition, giving Griffin Lumber & Hardware a competitive advantage with these products in the marketplace.

Blake Builders Supply will be the fourth retail LBM location for Griffin, joining their current locations in Cordele, Leesburg and Tifton. Specialty Structural products will be Griffin’ second manufacturing center joining their sawmill in Cordele. These companies are a great fit for Griffin Lumber and the acquisition emphasizes their commitment to making wood framed construction simpler and faster for builders in Georgia.

Manufacturing is not new to Griffin Lumber; in fact, the company’ roots began in 1948 with milling logs into lumber. That continues today with their mill in Cordele, GA. Adding roof and floor truss manufacturing to the portfolio complements their offerings bringing another product line direct from the manufacturer to builders.
