Nation’s Best Acquires Groom & Sons’ and Lambert Lumber, Adding Locations in Texas and Oklahoma

Nation’s Best, a growing home improvement company, announces their acquisition of Groom & Sons’, a three-location retail hardware, home center and contractor lumber yard, founded in 1948, with locations in East Dallas, Mabank and Athens, Texas. This follows the recent addition of Lambert Lumber and Home Center, founded in 1996, based in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, to the Nation’s Best family of companies.

Supported by over 130 associates serving these four combined locations, Groom & Sons’ and Lambert Lumber offer a wide variety of hardlines and building materials to an established and diverse customer base of homebuilders, contractors, and do-it-yourselfers. Groom & Sons’ and Lambert Lumber will continue to offer exceptional service to their loyal customers, while Nation’s Best provides the strategic and financial resources necessary to support their continued profitable growth.
