Report: Freeman Lumber No Longer Shutting Down
According to Canadian news reports, Freeman Lumber (a d/b/a of Harry Freeman & Son Limited) [HQ: Greenfield, NS], announced they are no longer shutting down.
CBC News reports that Freeman Lumber is “mostly back to business as usual” due to the organization being able to find a couple of “solid leads” for their chip sales. Co-owner Richard Freeman said, “I am unable to discuss the details as these are subject to non-disclosure agreements. Against this background we have resumed log purchases. All our contractors are back in the woods and we have returned to our regular shift hours.”
