Metrie Acquires Pacific MDF Products Inc. and Canadian MDF Products Company – Becomes Largest MDF Moulding Manufacturer in North America

Metrie ®, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of interior millwork, announces the acquisition of Pacific MDF Products Inc. (“PMDF”) and Canadian MDF Products Company (“CMDF”), collectively known as Pac Trim, located in Rocklin, CA and Edmonton, AB. Metrie’s existing MDF manufacturing facilities, when added to their newly acquired Pac Trim assets, make Metrie the largest MDF moulding manufacturer in North America.

The acquisition enters Metrie into the California market, expanding their customer reach, and adds to their overall footprint and production capabilities in Western Canada and the West/Pacific Northwest region in the US. The extension of their manufacturing business will better serve Metrie’s Pro Dealer and Retail customers’ needs.

The purchase of the two facilities accelerates Metrie’s goal to offer the strongest and most comprehensive supply chain in the millwork industry. Metrie achieves this by combining their internal domestic manufacturing plants and distribution network, complemented by key partnerships with global leaders.
