L&W Supply Promotes New Trenton Branch Manager & Hampton Branch Manager

L&W Supply, one of the country’s largest distributors of interior building materials and construction supplies, is excited to announce that Shawn Surprenant has accepted the role of branch manager for Hampton, Virginia.

Surprenant has over 23 years of experience in the building materials industry, working as a boom operator as well as in several sales and operations roles throughout his career. Since November 2019, he has been part of the L&W Supply Chesapeake sales team, helping to grow and secure sales opportunities in the region.

“Shawn’s deep industry experience and proven ability to earn his customers’ trust has made him a key member of the Chesapeake team,” says John McLaughlin, Northeast Region vice president. “We’re happy to welcome him aboard the Hampton, Virginia, team where he will be able to make an even bigger impact for our customers.”

As branch manager of Hampton, Virginia, Surprenant will be responsible for many of the key functions of the branch, including maintaining customer relationships, managing deliveries and ensuring safety priorities are followed across all branch operations.

Wood comes from a diverse background prior to joining L&W Supply. He has since held numerous roles across the company, including outside sales rep at Trenton, New Jersey, and inside sales rep at Warrington, Pennsylvania.
