The Parr Company Acquires Roof Truss Supply

The Parr Company is pleased to announce that the company has completed the acquisition of Roof Truss Supply Inc., headquartered in Woodinville, Washington.

Founded by Paul Morris in 1972, Roof Truss Supply, also known as RTS, has become the market leader in roof and floor trusses, pre-cut lumber packages, doors and millwork in the Puget Sound market. Currently owned and operated by Tracy Rex, RTS has 120 employees spread across three locations: one truss plant, pre-cut/LBM facility in Woodinville, Washington, and two door and millwork plants in Everett and Puyallup, Washington.

Roof Truss Supply has been a locally owned, family-based company focused on servicing professional contractors, single-family and multi-family production, and commercial builders for nearly 50 years.

In 2020, The Parr Company’s Executive Team developed a Three-Year Strategic Vision with support from the Board of Directors. A key initiative was to expand the footprint of roof and floor truss manufacturing, doors and millwork in the Pacific Northwest. “This addition will allow us to offer our products and services to customers in a new region of the Pacific Northwest, taking another step toward providing all products and services for the building industry from under one roof,” said Mike Howell, CEO of The Parr Company.

Parr Lumber was founded in Vancouver, Washington, in 1930 by Dwight Parr Sr. and remains a local, family-owned business today. Michael Parr, Brad Farmer, and Nancy Cranston, grandchildren of the founder, play active roles within The Parr Company, continuing their proud family heritage.

Headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, Parr ranks among the largest building material suppliers in the Nation. The Parr Company operates 44 facilities in Oregon and Washington, including professional and retail building supply yards, cabinet design centers, pre-hung doors and millwork, truss and floor truss manufacturing plants, and a wholesale hardware distribution warehouse, providing building solutions and services throughout Oregon, Washington, and beyond.
