Musser Biomass and Wood Products, LLC. First in United States to Install Dryer One of Belgium to Add 2nd Dryer and Double Production

After a successful launch in 2021, Musser Biomass and Wood Products, LLC in Rural Retreat, VA will bring online its Second dryer from Belgium Company, Dryer One the end of 2022. President, Ed Musser, announced the company’s plans on April 1, 2022. In addition to the second dryer, the company plans to open a pulpwood and log yard to supply its dryer operation. When the 2nd dryer comes online late 2022, MBWP will be one of the largest suppliers of Dry wood fiber on the east coast with an annual production of over 200,000 tons of dry fiber.

“We continue to execute our long term plans to make Musser Biomass and Wood Products the top source for hardwood fiber solutions in the biomass industry. From heating to BBQ pellets, composite decking and other biomass markets we are truly redefining the dry wood fiber market,” stated Ed Musser “And there is more to come as we have plans to expand operations into as least 2 more states over the next 3 years.”
