Industrial Forest Products Acquires Durham’s Hardwood
On September 2, 2022, it was announced that Industrial Forest Products (“IFP”) had acquired Durham’s Hardwood in Pickens, South Carolina.
Durham’s Hardwood, a family-owned sawmill in the upstate that saws grade/industrial hardwood and green pine, will now operate under the Industrial Forest Products umbrella. There will be multiple capital investments that will increase production, thus requiring IFP to buy larger volumes of standing hardwood and pine timber throughout the Carolinas.
IFP President Charles DeLaTorre stated, “As an organization, we are excited to continue and grow the Durham legacy.”
