84 Lumber Donates to Boy Scouts of America and Announces Vendor of the Year
This week, 84 Lumber continued its tradition of supporting the Boy Scouts of America by donating $150,884 to the Westmoreland-Fayette Council at its 32nd Annual Joe Hardy 84 Lumber Golf Outing. The popular yearly event is also 84 Lumber’s time to connect and build strong relationships with its vendor partners. “Our vendors are a part of the 84 Lumber family. We are beyond grateful for their continued dedication and support of our business. It’s an honor to host them at the best event in our industry year after year,” said Maggie Hardy Knox, president of 84 Lumber.
During the event, 84 Lumber also named James Hardie as its 2022 Vendor of the Year. The recognition is based on various factors, including sales growth and above-and-beyond service. “James Hardie went above and beyond last year for our customers and our associates. We look forward to the future with James Hardie by our side,” said Hardy Knox.
Over 350 vendors and 84 Lumber associates gathered together for the annual two-day golf outing at Nemacolin’s Shepherd’s Rock and Mystic Rock courses. “It has always been an inspiration to see how our donations have helped support the Westmoreland-Fayette Council’s operations,” said Hardy Knox.
