Alberta Government Forest Management Agreement: Tolko Industries Ltd., Norbord Inc. and La Crete Sawmills Ltd.
Represents the forest management agreement (“FMA”) signed between the Crown and Tolko Industries Ltd., Norbord Inc. and La Crete Sawmills Ltd. An FMA provides the company with rights to harvest and reforest trees on Crown land, and ensures activities are carried out in a sustainable manner.
The agreement duration is from May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2042. The original agreement commenced on September 11, 2002.
