Olon Announcement: The Retirement of Greg Stoner and Appointment of New President

To All Olon Associates.

It is with a mixture of gratitude and sadness that we announce today that Greg Stoner, President & CEO, will be retiring from his current role as of May 31, 2023.

Greg joined Olon in 2019 when White Owl asked Greg to come out of retirement to support a transitionary period for Olon. None of us expected the challenging times that were ahead, and we are extremely fortunate to have had such an experienced leader as Greg at the helm during this unprecedented period. Greg’s dedication to the Olon organization resulted in his desire to stay in the leadership beyond his original commitment, and for that, we are extremely grateful.

To succeed Greg, we are thrilled to announce Sylvain Duchesne will be promoted to President of Olon. Syl is uniquely positioned to thrive in this position and will report to Ted. Syl joined the Olon organization in 2001, and most recently led the sales effort for the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Syl has been a part of the Olon leadership team for many years and has an in-depth understanding of the industry, the history of Olon and a deep passion for the company. Along with the strong team developed during Greg’s tenure, we are excited for the future of Olon under Syl’s leadership.

Greg leaves a lasting impact on the associates at Olon. His commitment and thoughtful approach to the business will be greatly missed. We want to thank him for all that he has done for the business and wish him well on his second retirement. We would also like to congratulate Syl on his new role. Olon is an important investment for White Owl, and we are committed to supporting and investing in the future growth of the business. We are confident that Syl will flourish in his new appointment, and we look forward to working closely with him.
