In the week ending August 4, 2023, the price of Western S-P-F 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$426 mfbm, said forest products industry price guide newsletter Madison’s Lumber Reporter. This is down by -$29, or -7%, from the previous week when it was $458.

That week’s price is down by -$29, or -6%, from one month ago when it was US$455 mfbm.

Compared to the same week last year, when it was US$610 mfbm, that week’s price is down by -$184, or -30%. Compared to two years ago when it was US$539 mfbm, that week’s price is down by -$113 or -21%.

In the week ending August 4, 2023, the price of Southern Yellow Pine East Side 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$415 mfbm. This is down by -$10, or -2%, from the previous week when it was $425.

That week’s price is down by -$5, or -1%, from one month ago when it was US$420 mfbm.
