In the week ending September 8, 2023, the price of Western S-P-F 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$426 mfbm, said forest products industry price guide newsletter Madison’s Lumber Reporter. This is up by +$6, or +1%, from the previous week when it was $420.

That week’s price is up by +$9, or +2%, from one month ago when it was US$417 mfbm.

Compared to the same week last year, when it was US$554 mfbm, that week’s price is down by -$128, or -23%. Compared to two years ago when it was US$430 mfbm, that week’s price is down by -$4 or -1%.

In the week ending September 8, 2023, the price of Southern Yellow Pine East Side 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$480 mfbm. This is up by +$35, or +8%, from the previous week when it was $445.

That week’s price is up by +$58, or +14%, from one month ago when it was US$422 mfbm.
