The RONA Brand Expands its Reach in Canada

19 stores, including 16 Réno-Dépôt, will be converted to the RONA+ brand in the coming months

RONA inc., a leader in the residential renovation sector in Canada operating and serving some 425 corporate and affiliated stores, announces the conversion of 19 other stores, including 16 Réno-Dépôt stores , under the new RONA+ brand, from the fall.

“These conversions represent a significant investment in our network and will make RONA our unique emblem among our retail customers across Canada,” says Andrew Iacobucci, President and CEO of RONA Inc. New RONA+ conversion pilot project for large-scale RONA stores

In addition to the conversion of Réno-Dépôt stores to the RONA+ brand, the company announces the deployment of a new pilot project intended for its large-area RONA stores. Thus, three stores of this type will be converted to the RONA+ brand: the RONA Home & Garden stores in Waterdown and Winnipeg as well as the RONA l’Entrepôt store in Quebec.

“The conversions that have taken place over the last 12 months have had tangible impacts on the performance of the stores and we are confident that this pilot project to convert RONA Home & Garden and RONA l’Entrepôt will have positive results that will trace the path for the expansion of RONA+ in the country,” mentions Mr. Iacobucci.

The conversion of the RONA Home & Garden Waterdown store has already begun and will be completed this summer, while the RONA Home & Garden Winnipeg and RONA l’Entrepôt Québec stores will celebrate their reopening this fall, at the same time as the 16 Réno-Dépôt stores. With these conversions, the company hopes to create momentum and new opportunities to improve the way Canadians shop for their construction and home renovation projects.
