General News

Cotton Bay Corp, a diversified holding company specializing in people development and continuous improvement principles, is proud to announce its plans to acquire Haas Cabinet Co., Inc., marking Cotton Bay Corp’s continued commitment to growth and expansion in the wood and building products industry.

Founded by Carlos Haas in 1939, Haas Cabinets, a third-generation cabinet company located in Sellersburg, Indiana, announced last month that it would cease production. With a total of 350,000 square feet across two manufacturing plants and many seasoned employees, Haas Cabinets is known for its stock and semi-custom framed cabinets.

Haas Cabinets will join Candlelight Cabinetry and The Valen Group under the Cotton Bay Building Products (CBBP) portfolio, further strengthening their workforce, skill set, and product offerings. All three companies will continue to operate under their unique brand identities.

Andrew Olsen, Managing Partner of Cotton Bay Corp, is excited to welcome Haas Cabinets to the Cotton Bay family. “We are thrilled to continue the Haas family legacy by acquiring Haas Cabinets. The brand’s strength, company values, and people align perfectly with our mission and goals.”

Todd Haas, the current owner of Haas Cabinetry, has expressed his gratitude to Cotton Bay Corp. “After eight decades of operations, choosing to shut down operations was difficult. Cotton Bay Corp has allowed us the opportunity to transfer ownership and operations, keeping many of our hardworking and dedicated employees employed. We are excited to assist in the transition of ownership and are thrilled Cotton Bay will carry on our legacy.”

Cotton Bay Corp looks forward to re-engaging with current and past partners of Haas Cabinets’ and remains committed to delivering excellence in the woodworking industry.
