Steve Rhone, President and CEO of Weston Forest, is pleased to announce that the company is a recipient of the 2024 Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Private Businesses. This is the seventh consecutive year that Weston Forest has won this prestigious honour.

Rhone states, “Repeatedly receiving this recognition from Excellence Canada confirms our commitment to creating a great customer experience, exemplified by our brand promise, “You’ll love doing business with us”. This is made possible by our culture of support and engagement, and our great Weston Forest team.”

According to Allan Ebedes, President & CEO of Excellence Canada, “The Canadian Business Excellence Award recognizes entrepreneurial and growth-oriented private businesses that delight their customers, engage their employees, and who foster a culture of innovation at their workplace. This year we’re pleased to recognize 26 Canadian organizations for their achievement. A tremendous amount of hard work and commitment was required by everyone at these organizations to meet the requirements of this Award, and we’re thrilled to celebrate with them at our Ruby Jubilee in October, marking our 40th anniversary of celebrating Canadian Excellence.”

Excellence Canada’s mission is to help improve organizational performance and recognize excellence, with a vision to promote and enable excellence in every organization in Canada. The Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Private Businesses is a national award administered annually. This special designation recognizes businesses from all industries that demonstrate a strategic approach to successfully improving performance and achieving goals. Applicants are evaluated by the adjudication committee of the Canadian Business Excellence Award against the award criteria in three key performance areas: (1) Delighted Customers; (2) Engaged Employees; and (3) Innovation. Applicants are benchmarked on their own merit and do not compete against one another.
