Forest Products Manager Daniel Bricker, New Windsor, NY

Daniel Bricker will assume the role of Forest Products Manager, overseeing both the Commodity Framing Lumber and Panel departments in the New Windsor, NY office. This transition mirrors the operational structure of our Lumber and Panel groups across other locations, ensuring consistency and synergy within our organization. Bricker’s promotion to Panel Products Manager in 2020 underscores his commitment to fostering growth within his team. He takes pride in his role as a mentor, diligently training and developing his team members to ensure their success.

Forest Products Manager Justin Smith, Conroe, TX

Justin Smith is being promoted to Forest Products Manager in the Conroe, TX office, where he will supervise the administrative support team and traders. Since joining LBM Advantage in January 2023 as an SPF trader, Smith has played a pivotal role in broadening the scope of business and embracing new challenges. Notably, he successfully introduced the Texas reload to the membership and manages that reload, along with hedging risk through the CME. Additionally, he has been the point person in the South for forward pricing frame packages for multi-family projects, coordinating with our Building Products division.

Forest Products Manager Keith Gritters, Grand Rapids, MI

With the upcoming retirement of long-time Forest Products Manager Randy Spriensma on August 2, 2024, Keith Gritters will assume the role of Forest Products Manager in our Grand Rapids, MI office. Gritters has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication since being named Assistant Manager of the group in December 2023. During his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in hiring and onboarding the newest traders in the Grand Rapids office, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity in operations. His commitment to excellence will allow the Forest Products division to achieve new heights of success.

National Accounts and Data Operations Manager Dave Merryman, New Windsor, NY

David Merryman is transitioning to the role of National Accounts and Data Operations Manager. In this capacity, he will collaborate closely with our IT department to enhance reporting and explore potential system upgrades. Additionally, Merryman will serve as the primary point of contact for Forest Products National Accounts. With his leadership, he will spearhead projects focused on innovation and efficiency while nurturing stronger vendor relationships.
