LBM Advantage Celebrates Two Years of Success in Conroe, Holds Inaugural South by Southwest Summit
Two years ago, LBM Advantage proudly opened its Conroe office, a move that has since marked a significant milestone in the company’s expansion journey. The support of new members, whose contributions have bolstered the collective strength of our membership, has been instrumental in this progress. Equally gratifying has been the enduring partnership of trusted vendors, who recognize the value of aligning with LBM Advantage to further both their businesses and our members’ success.
With their mission firmly rooted in fostering stronger relationships between our members and suppliers, LBM held its inaugural South by Southwest Summit from September 11-13 at the Margaritaville resort in Conroe, Texas. The summit served as a dynamic platform for members and vendors to engage in meaningful discussions about current industry trends, explore new strategies, and exchange innovations that will propel their businesses forward.
Major industry suppliers American Gypsum, Arbec Forest Products, CertainTeed, Doman Lumber, Huber, James Hardie, RoyOMartin, Simpson Strong-Tie, and Weyerhaeuser were sponsors of the event. Each had the opportunity to present to Advantage members on their company history, products, and future plans.
Beyond the enriching conversations and presentations, the summit offered plenty of opportunities for networking and camaraderie, with social events such as a themed outdoor dinner, and fishing and golf outings. These activities allowed participants to forge deeper connections in a relaxed, enjoyable setting.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our vendors for their steadfast commitment to our members, for listening to their needs, and for supporting their growth,” said Joe Burlison, Vice President of Southwest Operations at LBM Advantage. “To our members, we commend your continued dedication to sourcing through our cooperative, a commitment that drives our collective success.”
