Forest City Trading Group, LLC Announces Consolidation of Operations of American International Forest Products, LLC and Affiliated Resources, LLC

American International Forest Products, LLC (AIFP), a leading wholesale lumber and building products trading company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Vaughan as its new President, effective November 1, 2024. Mr. Vaughan will succeed John Vranizan, who has served as the President of AIFP with distinction for over the last 13 years.

AIFP and Forest City Trading Group, LLC (FCTG) would like to express their sincere gratitude to John Vranizan for his outstanding leadership and contributions during his tenure as President of AIFP. Under his leadership from 2011 to 2024, AIFP entered new markets and development innovative trading strategies. Soon after John became President of AIFP in 2011, he successfully led the merger of Western International Forest Products and AIFP and has since provided steadfast leadership and direction that has left a lasting impact on FCTG and AIFP. While John is retiring from his role as President at AIFP, he will continue to be an advisor for Chris as the new President of AIFP and working on special projects.

Chris Vaughan is stepping into the President role at AIFP in conjunction with the consolidation of operations of AIFP and Affiliated Resources, LLC. His dynamic leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to our company’s values make him the ideal choice to lead AIFP and AR into their next phase of growth and innovation. Both AIFP and Affiliated Resources will continue to trade independently as separate companies but will consolidate certain back-office functions to streamline operations and optimize trading.
