Ahlstrom Completes the Divestment of Aspa Pulp Mill to Sweden Timber
Ahlstrom has completed the divestment of its Aspa pulp mill to Sweden Timber. The transaction was announced on 14 October 2024.
Sweden Timber is a Swedish-owned company that produces wood, paper, and wood composite products for a global market. The company is looking to broaden its product portfolio by adding pulp production capabilities, which offers a good platform for Aspa to develop.
The divestment is a key step in Ahlstrom’s growth transformation journey and allows the group to focus on its specialty materials portfolio.
