Bliffert Lumber’s Sales Leader, Lauren Parsons, Accepts HBS Dealer 2024 Rising Star Award

Bliffert Lumber is pleased to announce that Sales Leader, Lauren Parsons recently accepted one of HBSDealer’s Rising Star Awards on November 20th at the Top Women in Hardware and Building Supply event in Chicago, IL.

“I’m truly honored that Do It Best nominated me, and I’m thrilled that HBSDealer selected me as a Rising Star,” said Parsons. “I hope that awards like this will inspire other women in the field to continue pushing forward and pursuing growth.”

Since 2020, HBSDealer and its industry partners have championed the role of women in the hardware and building supply industry. This mission includes recognizing leaders who exemplify business excellence and have the potential to make significant impacts within their companies and communities.

For this year’s awards, over 600 nominations were submitted within the hardware and building supply sector. The honorees were distinguished in two categories: Rising Stars and Business Excellence.

“It’s no surprise that Lauren was recognized as a Rising Star. She’s a tremendous asset to our sales team and to Bliffert Lumber as a whole,” said Bliffert Owner Eli Bliffert. “Lauren has made a huge impact on our sales, training initiatives, and operational processes. Those in attendance with Parsons at the award ceremony included Bliffert Manager Chris Hegeman, Bliffert Sales Training and Support Specialist Faren Harding, and Estimator Deidra St. Peter.

“I had the honor of attending the conference with Lauren, and I’ve also had the privilege of working alongside her for nearly a year,” said Harding. “Lauren is an incredibly hard worker. The unique leadership and drive she brings to our team are not only respected, but truly set her apart. Excelling as a top performer, particularly as a woman in a male-dominated industry, is no small feat.”
