Ace Retail Holdings Promotes Three in Corporate Finance

Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware, Great Lakes Ace Hardware, and other retail hardware brands, recently announced three key promotions within their corporate finance team. John Mitter has been appointed corporate vice president of finance; Cindy Imhoff has been promoted to senior director and controller; and Tyler Blankenship was promoted to director of financial planning and analysis.

John Mitter

As corporate vice president of finance, Mitter will work closely with leadership to develop strategic financial plans, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure the company’s financial reporting is timely and accurate. He has served as vice president of finance for Great Lakes Ace Hardware since 2021. Mitter holds a master’s degree in accounting from Walsh College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University.

Cindy Imhoff

As senior director and controller, Imhoff will oversee all aspects of accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger team. Her responsibilities will include receivables, payables, cash management, tax filings, fixed assets, and lease accounting for both Great Lakes Ace Hardware and Westlake Ace Hardware. She will also manage audit processes, monthly financial statement distribution, and collaborate with finance teams to drive process efficiency. Previously, she was director/assistant controller at Westlake Ace. Imhoff holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Tyler Blankenship

A Westlake Ace associate since 2018, Blankenship has held multiple roles within the finance team, most recently as senior manager of financial planning and analysis. As the new director, he will lead budgeting, pricing strategies, and evaluation of current and future business opportunities for Ace Retail Holdings. Blankenship earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Washburn University.
