Benjamin Obdyke Hires Drew Dyer as Technical Field Sales Representative in New England
Benjamin Obdyke, a leading supplier of high-performance building envelope products, has hired Drew Dyer as its new Technical Field Representative in New England. In this role, Dyer will support the company’s sales team and pro customers in the region through education, training, and technical assistance; solutions and market research; and new product launches.
Dyer brings valuable experience from outside and inside construction. Prior to joining Benjamin Obdyke, he spent five years in the Marine Corps, worked in the electric trades, was a Field Service Technician for Marvin Windows, and was a Territory Sales Manager and Market Development Manager for Tando Composites.
“Through his work as an installer, service technician, and sales representative, Drew gained in-depth perspective of the building industry,” said Kaylen Handly, Technical and Innovations Manager for Benjamin Obdyke. “He understands the importance of listening to and learning from our customers, and he has a talent for problem-solving that will be a huge asset to the company as we continue to innovate and help customers Build Better.”
Dyer thrives in the field and takes a hands-on, interactive approach to working with and training customers—opportunities that drew him to his new position at Benjamin Obdyke. “I’m excited for a role in which I can be on the ground alongside building professionals in ways where we can work and grow together,” Dyer said. “I’m looking forward to understanding what the market needs straight from the source and in real time so we can provide the best service and solutions as possible.”
