PPG to Showcase Powder Coatings Innovations at FENCETECH 2022

PPG today announced that it will feature its line of high-performance fence and fastener coatings at FENCETECH® 2022, Feb. 16-18 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The PPG exhibit at booth 1761 will highlight powder coating innovations that include PPGCORAFLON® Platinum, PPG ENVIROCRON™ Extreme Protection Edge and PPG EnvirocronHigh Transfer Efficiency (HTE) coatings. “We’re excited to be a part of Fencetech for the first time,” said Maria Lamorey, PPG commercial strategy manager, industrial coatings.

PPG’s high-transfer and high-edge coatings solutions for difficult-to-coat surfaces and complex edges help reduce material usage, energy consumption and maintenance costs. They also offer higher first-pass transfer efficiency and increased edge protection at standard powder film thicknesses.

Designed for architectural extrusions and sheet aluminum, PPG Coraflon Platinum coating is a breakthrough in powder coating technology. It offers exceptional ultraviolet (UV) performance and improved corrosion resistance performance compared to standard fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) powder coatings.

PPG Coraflon Platinum coating is available in a wide range of FGIA®/AAMA® 2605-compliant colors, finishes and effects. These include an extended gloss range of 5-85, allowing for matte finishes and the ever-popular and timeless anodized color collection.

PPG Electropolyseal coatings enable bulk processing of small parts and fasteners for electrocoat (e-coat) lines using barrel and basket application methods. PPG Xylan coating is engineered to protect from corrosion, chemicals and abrasion while optimizing fastener reliability to improve performance and extend the life of components.
