Report: Large Fire at RY Timber in Livingston
According to local news reports, R Y Timber, Inc. (HQ: Townsend, MT), had a fire erupt at their site early Monday morning.
The Livingston Enterprise reports that early in the morning of Monday September 12, 2022, a fire erupted at the sawmill and “destroyed a 6,000-square-foot building and machinery, and caused one employee to be life-flighted to a Salt Lake City hospital with burns”. R Y Timber General Manager Dan Richards confirmed that planer building was “burned to the ground.”
