Kodiak Building Partners Foundation Announces First Annual Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit Children & Families
The Kodiak Building Partners Foundation will be hosting its first annual charity golf tournament to benefit charitable organizations that help children and families in need. The tournament will be held at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, CO on September 19, 2023.

Our vision is to create a culture that empowers local leaders to succeed in the communities they serve, and part of that success is about giving back and building communities not just because of the products we sell, but also because of the impact they make on the people in those communities. Our vision for Kodiak’s Foundation in the future is that we make a meaningful impact in each community we operate in,’ said Steve Swinney, Chief Executive Officer of Kodiak and Chairman of the Kodiak Foundation.
The Kodiak Building Partners Foundation was established to have available monies in place in times of need for both Kodiak’s communities and employees. The Foundation facilitates individual operating companies in collecting donations for the charities they support, as well as for Kodiak to accept donations to help its employees in need with two funds: the Employee Assistance Fund and the General Fund.
The Employee Assistance Fund has helped countless Kodiak family members affected by unforeseen events such as deaths in the family, natural disasters, and other tragedies. The General Fund has donated money to World Vision, Habitat for Humanity, Veterans Community Project, City of Hope, Samaritan’s Purse, and other charities focused on supporting families, children, and veterans in times of need.
“Kodiak’s philanthropic commitment to supporting those in need is made possible by the generous donations of our employees, individuals, and our partners. Our charity golf tournament will raise money to expand our national charitable reach and make a substantial impact in the lives of families, veterans, and communities in need,” said Mark Garboski, Kodiak’s Chief Operations Officer.
All proceeds from the golf tournament will go to the Kodiak Foundation General Fund, which will then be distributed through grants to Kodiak’s top five markets in Colorado, Texas, the Gulf Coast, the Pacific Northwest, and the Midwest to local charities focusing on benefitting children, and families like Habitat for Humanity and Mountain States Children’s Home.
“We are tasking our vendor partners across America to get involved in the golf tournament and be a part of something special. Doing this tournament will provide us exposure on a national level where we have previously been more locally focused and generating these funds will give us the ability to make a greater impact. Getting involved locally not only enriches our lives, but it makes our local communities better places to work and live in,” said Jeff Jones, President of the Kodiak Foundation.
