In the week ending June 2, 2023, the price of Western S-P-F 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$360 mfbm, said forest products industry price guide newsletter Madison’s Lumber Reporter. This is up by +$10, or +3%, compared to the previous week when it was US$350 mfbm.

That week’s price is up by +$3, or +1%, from one month ago when it was US$358 mfbm.

Compared to the same week last year, when it was US$700 mfbm, that week’s price is down by -$340, or -49%. Compared to two years ago when it was US$1,600 mfbm, that week’s price is down by -$1,240 or -78%.

In the week ending June 02, 2023, the price of Southern Yellow Pine East Side 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$447 mfbm. This is down by -$23 or -5% compared to the previous week when it was US$470 mfbm.

That week’s price is down by -$52, or -10%, from one month ago when it was US$499 mfbm.
