Kodiak Building Partners Announces New Vice President of Human Resources

Kodiak Building Partners, a pioneering name in the lumber and building materials distribution industry, announced that Jenny Vasquez has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources.

As Vice President of Human Resources and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, Vasquez will oversee a comprehensive array of HR functions, including evaluating the people-related business strategy through a top talent lens. She will concentrate on talent acquisition, engagement strategies, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. Her strategic vision will further amplify Kodiak’s commitment to building an agile and adaptable workforce that meets the demands of a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Jenny joined Kodiak in 2017 as a Human Resources Director and Kodiak’s first hire in the HR department. During her career at Kodiak in this position, Jenny has led the mergers and acquisitions HR diligence and integrations for all acquisitions since 2017 and has been a key player in building Kodiak’s HR department and establishing best practices. She is also accredited for implementing a new payroll system and application tracking system for Kodiak HQ and operating companies across the nation. Jenny was promoted to Senior Director of Human Resources at Kodiak in November of 2022.
