Viewrail Expands Product Offering with Schafer Hardwood Acquisition

Viewrail, a global leader in the building materials industry, has expanded its product line by acquiring Schafer Hardwood Flooring Co. – known for its proprietary V3 wide-plank, engineered hardwood flooring.

This acquisition represents a significant opportunity for Viewrail to further empower people to build exceptional spaces with wood products – flooring, stairs, and railing – that come from one, premium source.

The acquisition took place on Jan 22, 2024. The terms of the agreement include the integration of all assets from Schafer Hardwood, including the employment of all team members. Manufacturing will continue to take place in Schafer’s facilities in Tecumseh, MI. Schafer’s many years of hardwood flooring industry knowledge will help to provide another path for growth and development to Viewrail.
