TTL Acquires NVO Construction

Announcing Our “Truss & Components” Division

Greetings, TTL Customers, Clients, Family, and Friends:

For the past 93 years, Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co. and the Cross family have been proud to provide a broad array of building materials to customers like you. In our ongoing quest to provide the entire framing and building materials package, we are pleased to announce that, effective July 1st, 2024, Truckee-Tahoe Lumber will be expanding our offerings through the acquisition of a truss and component facility previously operated as NVO Construction Components located in the Stead area of Reno, Nevada.

We are now able to provide roof and floor trusses, panelized roof and floor cassettes, prefabricated wall panels, and prefabricated stairs to complement our lumber offerings. Our new division (pictured above) includes a 75,000 square foot manufacturing facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including:

• For roof trusses: high-tech CNC blade saw with self-printing and automated lumber feeder along with 100-foot automated roof truss table and jack truss table.
• For floor trusses: high-speed web cutter, splicer and 40-foot floor truss table capable of building open web and posi-strut floor trusses.
• For walls: interior and exterior wall panel lines, including sheathing table and automatic nailers.
• For roof and floor cassettes: fabrication tables with automated tables capable of building floor and roof sections with our trusses or EWP.
• For transportation and loading: 20-ton crane truck with 85’ boom extension capable of plate line loading on two to three story homes.

Our newly acquired division has a wealth of experience in the truss and components industry and will be ready to service your needs with the quality and excellent customer service you have come to expect from TTL starting July 1st, 2024. Utilizing the leading component software and technology in the industry, our experienced design team can prepare truss designs and calcs or layout wall panels and other components to facilitate fast, safe and efficient framing. Please note: we do not offer any installed sales, nor do we plan to in the future.
