Report: Allegheny Wood Products Begins Asset Sales to Restart West Virginia Operations
According to local news reports, Allegheny Wood Products, Inc. (HQ: Petersburg, WV), has begun the sale of its remaining assets, following its closure in February of this year.
WOWK reports the “assets are being sold in two sets. Two dry kilns from Hazelton and Petersburg are going out to Goodfellow in Canada for $6.25 million, and two sawmills from Kingwood and Riverton are going to Charles City in Virginia for $9.25 million.”
