High Point Westlake Ace Hardware Officially Opens

Grand opening events and a sale will celebrate the opening of the new store and formally introduce General Manager Cindy Gainey to the community

The new Westlake Ace Hardware at 1589 Skeet Club Road, Suite 105 (in the Oak Hollow Square shopping center) will formally open its doors with a “board cutting” and other grand opening events August 15-18. The weekend’s festivities will also be an opportunity to introduce Cindy Gainey, the new store’s general manager, to the High Point community.

The new 20,000 sq. ft. store is the 14^th Westlake Ace Hardware location in North Carolina and offers various products including lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies. Services include automotive key cutting, key fob replacement, Stihl outdoor power equipment repair, carpet cleaning machine rental, and propane tank exchange.

The store also features several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling such leading brands as:

• Big Green Egg, Blackstone, Traeger, and Weber grills and accessories
• Cookware and bakeware, kitchen utensils and gadgets, specialty gourmet foods and more
• Craftsman, DeWalt, and Milwaukee power tools
• Diablo saw blades and power tool accessories
• Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints
• EGO, Milwaukee, Stihl, and Toro outdoor power equipment
• Ariat, Carhartt, CAT, and Dickies lifestyle and workwear for men
• Seasonal live goods, Scotts and Miracle-Gro lawn and plant care products
• Yeti coolers, drinkware, and accessories

Board Cutting and Grand Opening Celebrations

• A ceremonial board-cutting by Westlake Ace leadership and High Point dignitaries will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 15. Light breakfast bites will be served.
• On Saturday, August 17, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., the grand opening celebration event will include vendor demonstrations, free prize drawings, refreshments, free kids’ activities, and more.
• A “Celebration Sale” will be held August 16-18, during which customers will receive 20 percent off most purchases.
