Sauder Woodworking Announces Leadership Transition

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nolan Pike as our President/Chief Executive Officer, effective October 21, 2024, succeeding Kevin Sauder.

Nolan joins Sauder with over 35 years of rich experience, having key leadership roles at General Electric, Sears, and Electrolux. Nolan was most recently President/CEO of Electrolux North America, where he was accountable for profit and loss of this large division which included brands such as Electrolux and Frigidaire. At Sears, he was the VP/General Manager of the Kenmore brands. And at General Electric, Nolan was general manager for The Home Depot and Sears accounts. He successfully led transformations from loss to profitability and provided strategic marketing and sales leadership for brands that are household names.

“We are confident that under Nolan’s leadership, our company will continue to serve our customers, employees, and communities, and achieve new heights,” stated Debbie Sauder David, Chair of Sauder Board of Directors. “After 90 years of growth and success with Sauder family leadership, our company will continue to be in very capable hands.”

Nolan holds an MBA from Lehigh University and a BBA in Management from the University of Texas-San Antonio. “Nolan brings experience and expertise that will greatly benefit our company and take it to the next level,” stated Kevin Sauder, Sauder’s President/CEO since 2001. “And I am pleased that Nolan shares a commitment to the Sauder values.”

Kevin looks forward to working with Nolan on a successful transition, and together they will attend the High Point (NC) Furniture Market, meeting with key customers, sales reps, industry partners, and trade press. Kevin plans to retire November 1 after 36 years of dedicated service to Sauder Woodworking Co. He looks forward to spending more time with family, traveling, and taking on new adventures.
