Dealers Wholesale Expands Midwest Presence with Acquisition of Palatine Builders Supply

Dealers Wholesale, a leading distributor and installer of doors, hardware, access control, and fireplaces for residential and commercial markets, has acquired Palatine Builders Supply (PBS), a Wood Dale, Illinois-based distributor of doors, frames, and hardware. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1987, PBS serves the Chicago area with hollow metal doors, wood doors, galvanized frames, door hardware, and bathroom accessories, supported by in-house fabrication services, including welding and assembly. The company is recognized for its quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and quick turnarounds.

 This acquisition strengthens Dealers Wholesale’s Midwest presence and builds on its 2021 acquisition of ClearPath Connections, a provider of security and life safety technologies. Together, Dealers Wholesale, ClearPath, and PBS form a comprehensive portfolio, leveraging synergies to deliver expanded product offerings, including retrofit solutions, fabrication expertise, and advanced technology-driven systems.
